How to get there

Cella Monte is about 1–2 hours from Milan’s airports. From Copenhagen, there are usually several direct flights a day from Copenhagen to the Milan area, taking just under 2 hours. Alternatively you can fly to Turin, but flights are not frequent.

Milan has three airports

✈️ Milan Malpensa (MXP)

Shortest option

Probably the most convenient choice for reaching Cella Monte. Easy fast train rides to Milan, Maggiore lake, and other known places in Lombardy. Train to Milan is a 45 min trip.

Around 1h 20min drive

Direct SAS flights

Plenty of rental car companies

SAS flights are more expensive

✈️ Milan Linate (LIN)

The city option

Perfect if you want to spend a day in Milan before heading to the countryside. A little further from Cella Monte, but still convenient. 5 minutes metro ride to Milan city center.

Around 1h30m-2h drive

Direct Easyjet flights (and SAS)

Very close to Milan city center

Easyjet flights are way cheaper than SAS

✈️ Milan Bergamo (BGY)

The budget option

Often home to the cheapest flights. No train or metro stations in the airport.

Around 2h drive

Direct Ryanair and Norwegian flights

Close to Bergamo and the Orobie alps

🚗 Rent a car

We strongly recommend renting a car, ideally sharing with friends. All airports have many rental offices. Budget roughly €40–70 a day for a small car. There’s parking close to the location.

🚆 No car?

You can reach Casale Monferrato by train, about 10–15 minutes from Cella Monte. From there, you’ll need a taxi or local bus. We strongly recommend organising it in advance.
